Out of the Closet

Totally not what my title suggests, but befitting of the first updated photo of my new house:
All the closet doors were taken out to be painted. They have also finally painted the walls, but I guess they'll have to repaint it because they painted the crown moldings after.

D is really happy about the crown moldings, especially the ones above our front door:
He just really, really likes the looks of it. I like it, too. I can't wait to move in.


The blossoms are blooming! A sign of a new beginning...:

We take possession in less than one month! D will move in first, then I will move in after our wedding in August.

I'm so excited, but nervous at the same time. However, D and I are not alone in this step toward this kind of independence. A number of my friends are also in the process of obtaining their first home together (or first house). I should start a "New Homeowners Group" in Facebook.

Just kidding! Still not addicted to it (or still denying that I am). Tee hee!
