Early Valentine's Day

With the next few weekends fully booked, D and I decided to have a romantic dinner for two before it got too busy to commemorate our third Valentine's as a married couple at one of our favourite restaurants in Abbotsford, Restaurant 62.

braised New Zealand lamb osso bucco with black olives, whipped russets, and winter vegetables

roasted pork tenderloin with dried fruits and red wine jus, Yukon potato salad, bacon, and cabbage ragout

dark Callebaut chocolate and peanut buttercup

Other delectable treats, but for which we have no photos:
- roasted porcini mushroom soup with truffle, sage, and extra virgin olive oil
- pan-fried west coast oysters with Dijon crust, sweet pea, and bacon cream
- classic vanilla and citrus creme brule
