Distracting Drivers
On my way to Mission today, I drove behind the most distracted driver I have seen. She must have ADHD or gets bored easily because she seems to prefer more than just driving while in the car. First of all, she's got a dog in the passenger seat next to her. It's a fairly big dog (and very cute) and it likes to stick its head out the window. The driver keeps petting it and occasionally rubbing her head against the dog's body. Secondly, she keeps tying and retying her hair up. It's probably messed up by the wind from the open windows, but when we're driving at up to 100km, I think it would be wiser if she kept her hands on the wheel at all times, even if it were just one hand. Her car's weaving left and right; some of the poor drivers in the right lane had to either swerve or brake hard to avoid getting hit. I don't think the girl heard any of the honks because she just kept right on driving. Occasionally she would stick her left foot out the window. Obviously, she does not drive standard or she's really talented with her right foot. She would speed up and then slow down, speed up, slow down. She can't seem to decide what speed she wants to drive at. Anyway, by the time I approached my exit, another driver had honked her after she cut him off. She's definitely in her own little world. Let's hope she doesn't take anyone down with her while she's there.

Her foot was hanging out the window?? Well, you know what Red Foreman would have to say about that. ;)
Glad you survived that ride with her "sharing" the road beside you. Hope you don't have that happening to you again...foot out the window, PUH!
