I couldn't get a better photo of the bruise because she was a little squirmy, but use that part of your brain that helps you find Waldo and you're on your way.
My sister took Chummy to the vet and he said that it was only a bruise. If it got bigger or it bled, then take her back. But, it's Day 3 since I first spotted the hole and it's healing. Phew! I'm so glad she's ok. As a treat, I bought her a new house!
Her old house was about 2/3 the size of this one and was getting really cramped, especially since she is getting so fat. I've made upgrades to her house since I took this photo, though. She was too big for the wheel they provided, so I put in a hamster ball. I wanted to get her one of those two-storey (with an attic and those tubes hamsters can slide around in) containers, but I needed something easy to transport when I take her back and forth to school/work/home, plus the cage had to fit in my trunk upright and those bling bling cages were too tall.We love our hamster!
