All the subjects were accepted in our second offer except for the air conditioning. Why does D have to be so high maintenance!!! In my house, we just sit in front of electric fans. But, apparently that's not good enough for D. :)
D is willing to add the air con in afterward, but he wants to ask the builder what other options he could give us regarding the air con situation.
In other news, I seem to have misplaced a whole year's worth of work. Argh! I'm trying to find my statement of philosophy so I could apply to one of the school districts. I knew I had written one during my B.Ed. year, so I trotted upstairs to my room to fetch it. I searched high and low in my room and even asked my sister to search in her room for boxes full of my folders, papers, and binders. I found my high school essay. I found my undergrad stuff. I even found my practicum materials. But, where oh where did my B.Ed. books go? I don't think I would've thrown away my teaching stuff. As I said to D last night, I'm royally pissed off at myself because I'm usually so well-organized, but I've lost one of my most valuable possessions. I just know that I'll find them when I least need them.
Dear God, please make my B.Ed. books magically appear now, so I can finish applying before I procrastinate for another three months. Amen.

Central Air - wow so Fancy!
T
Amen. :)
Perhaps that area of the world is just a lot hotter than your house, Tree. Have some empathy. :D I personally think the builder should just throw it in, it costs them hardly anything anyway. And about your B.Ed. materials, would they be saved on your computer anywhere?
Snerk: I looked, but somehow I don't have the file.
did you search your booze cabinet?!? that's where i'd store my valuables ;)
Char, you too?!!? ;) hehe.
Keep praying and less nightmare dreaming, Tree...especially of me and Thrillhouse. :p
But don't worry 'cause everyone is praying for you too. :)
