Realtor B has rejected Realtor L's fee proposal. That means in addition to paying for our house, we would have to pay up to an extra $5000 if we want Realtor L to represent us. That's too much for D and me. So, "if we can't beat them, join them." Tomorrow D will call Realtor B and let him know that we're going to work with him. I'll be praying hard for God to give us wisdom and resources to know if we're getting the best deal out of Realtor B.
On a happier note, I got my evening dress for the wedding today and we've managed to book our honeymoon to Maui! Finally, I get to cross more things off my list of tasks to prepare for the wedding.
D and I were looking at our budget after updating it today and we nearly passed out. Weddings are so freakin' expensive! If only our parents wouldn't threaten to disown us if we eloped. The reception is taking a huge chunk out of our budget and we haven't even figured out the full details yet. We just won't have furniture after we move into our house! Next on the list of things to get: flowers and invitations. Kaching!
